Originally built in 1959 and reimagined in 2022, our vintage boutique motel is located in the historic German Village neighborhood, just south of downtown Columbus, Ohio. We are family run, locally sourced, and sustainably powered.
In the fall of 2021, we took a trip out to Idaho for a week to photograph a fly fishing trip with Wandervans for Tourism Idaho. Full library here.
At isla our purpose is human connection. We achieve this through thoughtfully curated communal tasting menus, chef/bartender collaborations, cooking classes, and private events.
Our interactions with others can define who we chose to be as individuals and as a community.

Photographed a long weekend trip to document how far a Wandervan can take you. We were hired specifically to show you can take the van thru the elements of a harsh winter, and to write up on all the hot springs in Idaho.

How do you Wander?
Wandervans campervans provides adventure specific boutique campervans for your next adventure. We began with a passion for helping to get people into the outdoors at reasonable rates. We want to help you get out of the city and wander in the outdoors. Wandervans started renting campervans in June of 2016 in Boise, ID. We are now open in Salt Lake City and taking reservations.
Our campervans provide the sweet spot in between a cumbersome recreation vehicle (RV) and sleeping on the ground. We are always available to help you plan your next adventure.

I am the in-house photographer for Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Here is a sample of the product photography that I capture.
At Jenis HQ, I scoop, style, and photograph ice cream, events, products, Jeni herself, and lifestyle for the brand. My work can be seen in shops as posters, our printed catalogs, our website, grocery partners, as well as our social media channels. I’m the one that shoots everything you see.
And yes, I eat ice cream everyday.
Creative Babes and I collaborated to create a a series of images based off of a sculpture using the female form to create a landscape.
As the in-house photographer for Jenis, I often photograph portraits of JBB at HQ, scoop shops, events, or when we are out traveling together.
Documenting time in the garage. Because we all got something important to do in there. Even if that’s having a beer explaining to your buddy how to not screw up the electrical.
Farmers, growers, makers, scoop shops and all the details in between. These are the images that I capture to tell the Jeni’s story outside of product photography.

I love everything about two wheels, however I am thankful that I now have a car. In December 2008, I was hit by a car on my bicycle and had major reconstructive surgery. Every December, I think how lucky I am to be alive and how grateful I am to have a car now (thanks settlement). I did this cyclist portrait series in September 2008, just a few months before my accident. I had people ride to the studio and immediately took their portrait. I'm not at all afraid of riding on two wheels, I never could be. So with that, I'll always love this portrait series.
